To be honest, a Darlington Estate Winery wedding is not really a venue that was on my radar before I met the beautiful Georgie but, what a lovely little gem for those who are after something a bit more rustic.  Tucked away in the hills just before Mundaring, it’s a beautiful part of the greater Perth region.  Even just a little drive out to Darlington for a coffee is worth doing when you find yourself looking for something to do one day.

I met Georgie for a coffee once, halfway through the wedding planning process as they are not based in Perth, but luckily there’s nothing that can’t be discussed over email or phone.

The start of the day was very relaxed with the girls basically waiting for time to pass to the get the show on the road!  I suppose it was pretty much the tone of the day: relaxed, genuine and fun.  When time for the ceremony eventually came around, I could not help but smile when I listened to Georgie and Ben’s love story.  They were originally high school sweethearts and long story short, they found each other again and following a beautiful day at Darlington Estate Winery, the rest is history!

I’m honestly a bit confused about the weather we are experiencing this year and Georgie and Ben’s day was no different.  Luckily when the forecast was starting to look grim, the ceremony could easily be moved under cover.

Now join me on a little trip through Georgie and Ben’s fun wedding at the cosy Darlington Estate wedding.
