Billy and Rosie chose to have a Como The Treasury wedding but with the ceremony to be held at the Botanic Terraces in Kings Park. It is the best of both worlds: architecture and landscape all in 1 day!
Rosie got ready at the beautiful Como The Treasury. The room had high ceilings and was bright and spacious. There was plenty of space for the team from Supernatural Hair and Beauty to work their magic on everyone’s hair without interfering with Megann Makeup Artistry as she was doing her thang on our beautiful bride. Rosie looked stunning in her dress from Bridal by Aubry Rose, the details were just exquisite and her hair and makeup suited it perfectly!
Just down the road from her, Billy was getting groomed by his favourite barber at Bellini Barber Shop before getting changed at the Double Tree by Hilton on the waterfront. It’s only a little walk between the 2 locations which made things very easy on the day. The valet parking at COMO was also a great help on the day, I have to add.
B & R opted to have a first look followed by their bridal photoshoot before the ceremony followed by a small, intimate photo session on the balcony at The Como after the ceremony and just before the start of their reception at the Petition Beer Corner. They wanted to spend as much time as possible with their guests, celebrating the day and having the photos and events in this order, allowed them to do just that.
Using the architecture around Como was perfect for the first look as we were able to find a quiet little corner for the 2 of them to take in the moment of seeing each other for the first time before everyone else joined them. It was naturally also the perfect location to get some stunning architectural bridal party photos before heading to Kings Park where we were able to get some more nature scape photos.
The ceremony was lovely with most people being able to find a seat, in shade – 2 wins, I thought! When B & R were officially married, we popped the champagne and headed back to COMO to make use of the amazing building and in particular the famous balcony. It didn’t take very long before I could release a very thirsty Billy to go get his party started. The Petition Beer Corner is a favourite hangout for Billy and Rosie so it was extra special that they could celebrate the best day of their lives to date, there, with their friends and family. It really was the perfect setting for this super fun couple party the night way.
Here’s a little look into their stunning COMO The Treasury wedding.
