I first saw Angela Sav Designs in action at a Mandoon Estate wedding I was photographing (you can view my blog for that stunning day here) a little while back. The bride and I were both blown away by the styling at her wedding, from the arbor through to the amazing detail and lushness of the main table setup, the stunning center pieces and details on the guest tables and everything in between. Angela doesn’t just think about what’s going to be on the table, she thinks about in front of the table and even behind it too! Making sure every angle looks fabulous.
It was such a breeze and treat to photograph the work Angela and her team had put into that wedding at Mandoon. I was delighted that Angela loved the photos so much that she decided to use the photos from that wedding in her add campaign in Wedding & Bride (issue 17). It was so lovely to see my photos in print!
As this was a little while back, I was pleasantly surprised to hear from Angela again at the end of last year to see if I would be interested to photograph her setup for the Swan valley Wedding Open Day. Naturally I was flattered and over the moon to be asked, so I said yes. You’ll be surprised how much planning, work and money goes into these elaborate setups for open days so what a great idea to get it professionally photographed.
When I arrived at Sandalford I was once again blown away by the detail of the setup and could just imagine how overjoyed you would be if this was your wedding reception you were walking into. The setup was elegant and stylish and no detail was spared: furniture, table linen, cutlery, candles, invitations, center pieces, dance floor, dance floor decal, wedding cake, main table, bride, wedding dress, makeup, hair, bar tables, lounge area, you name it! Everything you could possibly want/need on your wedding day, was on display and perfectly laid out.
